The Soloko range of woven throw pillows is a gorgeous collaboration of modern European design with traditional Ghanaian craftsmanship. Designed in Germany, the 100% cotton pillow covers are hand-woven by a team of craftspeople in our workshop in Ghana, where they use traditional weaving techniques, infusing each piece with centuries-old expertise.
The intricate patterns of the woven cushions are inspired by the Kente tradition of the Ewe culture in Ghana, which is more than just aesthetic - the woven patterns contain stories through the unique combination of colors, patterns, and symbols. From start to finish, the fabrics for our woven throw pillows are created in the traditional manner, from the winding of the cotton yarns, to preparation and use of the classic wooden looms. Each of our weavers adds their own unique, authentic touch to their art, ensuring that your new woven throw pillow is filled with personality.

If you would prefer your woven throw pillow comes complete with its filling, ready to add to your couch or bed, select to include the 100% siliconised polyester hollow fibre ball filling.
This ultra-comfortable filling can be easily removed so that you can wash the woven pillow cover. To get the longest life from your woven fabrics, we recommend hand-washing or using a gentle machine wash, and to lay the cover flat to dry.
Our woven throw pillows are 100% cotton, which is soft to the touch, perfect for helping you rest, while also being naturally hypoallergenic and breathable, so you won't overheat on those hot summer days.
