With designs inspired by kente traditions of the Ewe culture in Ghana, our team of artisan craftspeople use 100% cotton yarn following centuries-old techniques to create hand woven blankets that aren't just comfortable and visually pleasing - they're filled with stories. Traditional kente is an ancient method of textile creation that infuses the woven patterns with combinations of patterns, symbols, and colours into the designs that breathe life and meaning into every one of the woven throw blankets.

The hand woven blankets are made from 100% cotton thread, which is taken through traditional techniques of winding, preparing and weaving using classic looms in our workshop in the beautiful rural Volta Region of Ghana. Then, the products are washed, finished and quality assured, sent out to their new homes or to join our retailers worldwide.
The cotton fabric of the woven throw blankets means they are not only soft to touch and extra snuggly, they're also hypoallergenic moisture-wicking and ensure you don't get sweaty, keeping the blankets breathable. Our woven throw blankets are best cared for by hand washing, or using a gentle machine wash on low temperature.
Alongside our woven throw blankets, we use the same materials and traditional techniques to create stunning woven throw pillows to match the designs of the hand woven blankets, as well as woven table linens in a number of different colourways. To add to our in-house production, we also work with specialized artisans to produce glass beaded table mats mouth blown glassware, and hand woven baskets in a wide range of sizes.
